1994 Dodge Stealth

Description

I bought this Stealth from an enthusiast who was in poor health and sadly passed away not long after I purchased it. He told me that he had the engine completely rebuilt with all new high performance components, but he was unable to send me the receipts prior to his death. I reached out to his son for the receipts, but his son couldn't find them. The prior owner also told me he had swapped the original transmission out for a very low mileage unit from a later model 3000GT VR4, as the later transmissions didn't have the problems associated with the earlier ones.
The clutch and pressure plate were replaced at that time as well.
Unlike a lot of these cars, the transmission in this one shifts through all six gears like butter with no synchro issues whatsoever.
I spent a lot of time and money fixing "little things" on the car. I replaced the entire A/C system and it blows ice cold. The A/C display was replaced and works perfectly. I fixed the cruise control and ABS system. The fuel sending unit was replaced (even so, if the gas tank is "topped off" the fuel gauge doesn't read properly until the car burns off a gallon or two). I replaced the speakers, the amp, and the antenna (the prior owner had already upgraded the head unit with one that has bluetooth capability) and the stereo system sounds awesome!
Pretty much everything on the car works as it should, including the power windows, the power driver's seat, the lights, the horn, the windshield wipers, and the dual mode exhaust system. None of the engine lights stay on. The engine doesn't smoke, and it runs cool even on the hottest Alabama days with the A/C running. The car has nice aftermarket wheels with like-new tires. It tracks straight down the road, doesn't pull to either side, and there are no vibrations.The suspension and steering are tight and smooth. The turbos spool up quickly, the car pulls hard, and it is a blast to drive!
This car has pretty much every available option from the factory, even a sunroof that comes off and fits in the trunk. It is finished in a gorgeous and rare color called "Martinique Yellow Pearl." The body and paint are in beautiful condition. I can't find any signs of body work on the car, but there was a "minor" accident reported on the AutoCheck report. The only flaws in the paint are a few tiny chip touch ups and the typical fine cracks in the paint on the rubber front bumper. I had some paint professionally matched that I will include in the sale if the new owner wishes to repaint the front bumper.
The interior is almost flawless. There are no cracks in the dash, the door panels, or the seats. The headliner is in excellent condition, as is the factory carpet and floor mats. The prior owner had the front seats recovered in soft glove leather, and he added extra padding so they are very comfortable. The car still has its original spare tire, jack, and tool kit. All of the glass on the car is in perfect condition without any chips or scratches.

Everything under the car was cleaned and detailed, and then the floors and wheel wells were given a light undercoating. The brake calipers were painted red, and the exhaust system and gas tank were painted in high heat aluminum. The engine compartment and trunk are highly detailed as well.
Included with the sale is the original owner's manual and a clean Alabama title in my name. As previously stated, there was the report of a accident in 1999 and issuance of a branded title in the past, but that information did not transfer over to the car when I titled it in Alabama, so I am listing the title as "clear."
